UNC Hospitals Teams With Agfa to Improve Access to Patient Information With NetApp Storage

University of North Carolina (UNC) Hospitals treats patients from all 100 North Carolina counties and from throughout the southeast. UNC wanted to economically support PACS data, address server proliferation issues, streamline management, and support exponential growth. UNC deployed a NetApp primary storage system to provide expanded storage capacity for critical Agfa PACS data and consolidate storage for Microsoft SQL Server databases.
