As a project manager, you may need to integrate data from different programs into your Microsoft Office Project plans. For example, you may start out listing your Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) tasks in a Microsoft Office Excel table. Or, your company may keep resource information, such as names and billing rates, in a Microsoft SQL Server database. You can integrate all this information into one file format, Microsoft Office Project, by using the Import Wizard. This paper explains how to use data stored in other file formats when building a project plan.
