Use of Virtualization Technology With SAP

For users of core business applications such as SAP ERP and other SAP solutions, upgrading is one of those things that cannot be avoided. As a rule, SAP recommends a three-system landscape consisting of development, testing and production systems, which means that upgrading SAP typically requires upgrading these three different systems.
