Using Hitachi ShadowImage and Hitachi TrueCopy software with the IBM DB2 Universal Database Enterprise Server Edition Version 8.1

Hitachi TrueCopy software enables users to create and maintain multiple duplicate copies of all user data across multiple Lightning 9900 V Series systems. DB2 UDB combines integrated power for business intelligence, content management, and e-business with industry-leading performance and reliability. This white paper describes a sample configuration setup and usage of IBM DB2 UDB Enterprise Server Edition (ESE) Version 8.1 with ShadowImage and TrueCopy software for the Lightning 9900 V Series, based on the results of a joint test project by Hitachi and IBM.
