Virtual Mainframe: Migration

Today's CIOs are increasingly questioning whether the mainframe will continue to be a strategic platform in the future. A recent survey by Standish Group1 showed that while 70% of CIOs consider the mainframe to provide a central, strategic role currently, none consider that the mainframe will be as strategic in 5-10 years time.
