Virtualization Performance of SAP* ERP with VMware on Servers with Intel® Xeon® Processor 7500 series

Intel and SAP AG have worked together to help ensure leading virtualized performance for SAP software solutions on Intel® Xeon®-based servers. This paper highlights how, with the help of Intel® Xeon® processor 7500 series-based platforms, the latest release of SAP* ERP application achieves 3.12x performance improvement in the virtualized environment when compared to Intel® Xeon® processor 7400 series.
