VMware Case Study: SunGard Technology Services

SunGard Technology Services (STS) provides full software development lifecycle support across all of SunGard's businesses. STS wanted to create a shared infrastructure that enables rapid commissioning and decommissioning of virtual servers to support application development and testing. VMware virtualization optimizes computing resources for testing and development by enabling multiple virtual machines to be run on a single server. Each machine can be configured independently, allowing application behavior to be tested across several environments.
