Weighted Sum Rate Optimization of Multicell Cognitive Radio Networks
Source: Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers
In this paper, the authors study the weighted sum rate maximization of multicell cellular Cognitive Radio Networks (CRNs) which are overlaid with multicell Primary Radio Networks (PRNs). They assume each CRN cell is collocated with a PRN cell and has a cellular structure with Access Point (AP) and multiple Secondary Users (SUs). While the spectral resource becomes scarce today and yet many available spectrum bandwidths are not efficiently used, the Cognitive Radio (CR) technique has been proposed as a viable solution.
