Business Process Analysis (BPA) is an important discipline for project managers. They should employ it to improve their own project management processes whether they are general project management processes, repeatable life cycle processes, or processes developed for a specific project. PMs also must understand BPA because BPA is used to propose projects. Finally, PMs may actually manage BPA projects that are significant enough to be projects in their own right.
