Which Is Better: Load Or No Load?
Source: Kiplinger Washington Editors
This calculator compares rates of return, before and after taxes, for two mutual funds: a fund that charges a load and a fund that does not. You specify whether the fund charges a front- or back-end load. A mutual fund that does not charge a load is called a no-load mutual fund. You specify each fund's current capital gains and dividend distributions. You also select a holding period and estimate growth rates for fund share prices and future distributions of capital gains and dividends.
