Source: Real Asset Management International
Tri-Con, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of petroleum products for the automotive and marine industries founded in 1969. Tri-Con fixed asset was slow and very limited; unable to accurately produce even simple depreciation calculations. They required a system complete with comprehensive reporting capabilities and the ability to run depreciation calculations using numerous methods. They had a project management requirement to address as well. RAMI's Asset4000 and Project4000 modules were able to accommodate both sets of issues. They used fixed asset management software (Asset4000) to manage and depreciate around 700 fixed assets. Project management software (Project4000) track costs and progress associated with the construction of all new Express Marts going forward.
