Why And How Organizations Should Manage Content

This paper puts forward Atos Origin's vision on why and how organizations should put focus on the management of their content in the field commonly referred to as Enterprise Content Management (ECM): the technologies, tools, and methods used to capture, manage, store, preserve, and deliver content across the enterprise. The authors stress that ECM is about people, information used in business processes and IT tooling. It is viewed that in the coming years, one will see enterprise wide ECM programs, the next suite wave after ERP.
