YMCA Calls on 3Com Power of $Zero Solution for Upgrade to IP Telephony
Source: 3Com
Like any bustling organization, the YMCA in downtown Houston, built in 1946, relies heavily on telecommunications. Houston YMCA's phone system, however, a Nortel Meridian PBX, was costly to maintain, requiring a $12,000 annual service contract just for technicians to move, add, or repair the 110 phones within its 10-story facility. The 3Com Power of $Zero solution made it possible for the YMCA to better serve members and constituents, allowing it to replace its aging phone system with the NBX platform at no additional cost.
