Most Friday nights, I end up doing a nice dinner out with friends, and

this week was no different, except that the restaurant we chose was

right next to the local used book and CD store.

I had never been in to this new, expanded location, but one of my

friends wanted to “stop in” and check out some discount music. An hour

later, the entire dinner party left with a goody bag. My wife got three

CDs for twenty bucks, and I got four sci-fi/fantasy paperbacks

for a mere $8:

This, my friends, is one geek’s idea of money–and a Friday night–very well spent.
