So here I am, checking out the Excel spreadsheet that my customer is using to compare it to what I am currently working on. To see if they made any changes to the ODBC queries, I popped it open in a hex editor. Guess what? Not only were the queries there (as I expected), the connection string, INCLUDING THE PASSWORD was there, in plain text! Unbloody real.
