Call of Duty: Black Ops may not be on many gamers’ holiday wish lists this year. It’s not because the first-person shooter isn’t getting good reviews, but rather because many fans of the series have already purchased the game.
In the first 24 hours that Call of Duty: Black Ops was on sale in North America and the UK, 5.6 million units were sold, and the game pulled in $360 million; this is now the day-one sales record for games (the record was held by Modern Warfare 2).
