Keith Little joined the BBC in 2001 and as CIO is in charge of Auntie’s IT, production and broadcast technologies.
Recent projects Little has been working on include the completion of an end-to-end refresh of the BBC’s network infrastructure to support the move of broadcast technologies to IP standards and the introduction of a new scheduling system across the corporation.
Before joining the BBC, Little worked as IT director for Blue Square as well as energy company Shell and consultancy AMEC. With the latter, he held development and operational roles around major oil engineering projects.
Little has a postgraduate degree in image and video compression technologies – something that must be particularly useful at the Beeb. He’s also founder of an online art retailer and is a non-executive director of Kings College London.
