Jill Lucas joined Belron last year in the newly created post of group CIO. Belron is the world’s largest dedicated vehicle-glass repair and replacement company, with brands including Carglass and Autoglass.

Lucas is a member of the Belron executive team and is leading an IT transformation programme aimed at delivering a common, scalable platform.

Critical objectives for the programme will be to support ambitious growth plans and to ensure Belron is well positioned to exploit technology innovations.

Lucas spent the early years of her career at Sainsbury’s in a variety of IT roles, while in parallel, conducting post graduate studies in Information Systems Design. She moved to Barclays in 1999 and, prior to joining Belron, was one of four business-facing directors in the CIO function at Reuters (now Thomson Reuters).
