Marc Earl is head of global technology production management at Deutsche Bank, where he also sits on the IT and operations management committee.
Earl joined the financial services giant in 2003. In recent years, he has focused on overseeing the creation of a cross-bank production management division – responsible for the support and control of all apps across Deutsche Bank. The underlying philosophy for the project was to move from reactive problem management to proactive problem prevention. The project gained outside plaudits, winning the IT Service Management Forum’s UK 2010 project of the year award.
Earl has clocked up almost three decades in the IT industry, working in or around financial systems development, including stints in programme and product management. He has also been head of capital markets IT for BNP Paribas and CEO of a software testing and quality assurance consultancy.
Outside work, Earl is a keen supporter of Arsenal FC and a proud father of three teenage boys. He also enjoys indulging his passion for fast cars.
