‘CSI: Crack the Case on CBS.’ The company that does the etching

promises future advertising inventory that’s targeted to precise

ZIP-codes, and they print serial numbers on each egg that can be looked

up online for more information.”

Look, I realize that the Tivo-inspired end of interrupt-driven advertising has scared the crap out of marketing executives, but all this little gimmick will succeed in doing is making me despise the products advertised. Anybody with me?
