Construx Software is generously offering free training in software best practices to laid-off developers. There are a few requirements for qualification: You must have been laid off after July 1, 2008, and you must have been working as a software development professional before you were let go. The company has set aside 25% of its seminar seats for this program on topics which include Software Project Management, Software Design, and Software Testing.
