The sites selected in this gallery represent a variety of organizations from the federal government to a private company, to an educational institution, and more. The one thing that all of these sites have in common? They were built using the Drupal Open Source CMS platform.
Drupal is a free software package that allows you to easily organize, manage and publish your web content, with an endless variety of customization. It boasts an active community of 630,000 users worldwide. The current version is Drupal 7, which can be run from either an Apache or Microsoft ISS server, with PHP 5.2 or higher, and utilizes MySQL 5.0 or higher, PostgreSQL 8.3 or higher, or SQLite for the database back end. Drupal is web-based so it is compatible with all operating systems.
