How well do you and your users know Microsoft Word? It’s one of the most widely used applications, yet many people barely scratch the surface when it comes to taking advantage of the many shortcuts and advanced features this program offers.

We use Word 97 here at TechRepublic, and I asked my fellow editors for their favorite Word tips. Short and sweet
We divided our Word tips into three sections. The first two, The Basics and Advanced Tips, are pretty self-explanatory. We present some rudimentary techniques we think users of all levels should have mastered, as well as some advanced tips to challenge more experienced users.
