If you uncover a questionable fact or debatable aspect of this week’s Geek Trivia, “Roller (coaster) derby,” just post it in the discussion area. Every week, yours truly will choose the best quibble from the assembled masses and discuss it in a future edition of Geek Trivia.

This week’s quibble comes from the November 7 edition of Geek Trivia, “(Melt)down to Earth.” TechRepublic member thecassedays caught me in a glaring unit of measurement mistake.

“Think you left out a factor of about a million for the energy released by the fission of U235 — most calculations yield [about] 180 Mev (million electronvolts).”

Right you are, dear reader. I meant to cite the unit of megaelectronvolts, but I (or my spell checker) omitted the mega. thecassedays e-mailed me almost immediately after the column posted, so I got the correction up superfast. Thanks for the at-large editing, and keep those quibbles coming.
