Google has fixed a problem that Windows Mobile users had with its IMAP implementation for Gmail, which was rolled out in October of 2007. The fix is on the server side and requires no additional configuration, according to a Google spokeswoman.

The previous problem materialized in two forms, as noted by PC World:

In some cases, Windows Mobile users said that HTML (Hypertext Markup Language) e-mail messages showed up blank on their phones. Others said that while they could read message headers, all messages appeared blank.

If you want to configure Gmail’s IMAP for use with your Windows Mobile, you can check out these instructions from Google.

In case you are not aware, both Windows Mobile 5 and 6 have native support for IMAP.
