Google blogs offlineHot on the heels of Skype’s outage last week is a report from PC World that Google’s very own Blogger blog publishing, as well as its Blogspot blog hosting services, went offline.

Apparently, a litany of complaints flooded the official Blogger discussion forum earlier in the week. Various issues, such as problems editing, publishing, and accessing the various blogs were reported.

Excerpt from PC World:

… things apparently took a turn for the worst on Wednesday morning U.S. Eastern Time when Blogger and Blogspot apparently went totally offline.

Checks on Blogger.com and a variety of Blogspot-hosted blogs by IDG News Service staff in different parts of the U.S. and Europe returned server error messages.

Thankfully, it seems that Blogger and Blogspot came back online at around 11:00 A.M. U.S. Eastern Standard Time. The outage lasted over an hour.

We will post an update if more information becomes available on this. Stay tuned.
