Google introduces a new smartphone -- Nexus One, a secret GodMode feature gets discovered in Windows 7 and Chrome's popularity grows.

Google has unveiled its next Android phone, Nexus One, but Australia is not on its shipping list yet. If you're keen to get your hands on this new offering from Google, you can buy it on eBay.

A secret "GodMode" feature has been uncovered in Windows 7 that lets you access all controls from a single location. According to the head of the Windows division, GodMode is just one of the hidden, undocumented features available.

Chrome's popularity is growing with its usage exceeding that of Safari in December, leaping from 3.9 to 4.6 per cent. Google expects the adoption of Chrome OS to be the same as for Google Apps, with small businesses embracing the technology first.

Microsoft has joined the W3C's Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) working group, but it remains unknown if or when the company will add SVG support to IE.
