We’ve had a great response to the grade-your-job polls we’ve been running. I will be displaying the results of each job position and then will combine all the results for those of you contemplating a change of specialty or for those who are entering the IT field for the first time.

This week: the results of the poll on IT project managers. What I found most interesting about the discussion following the polls on project management is that a lot of people are doing the job of project manager, but their companies are not willing to actually bestow the title. Some believe this is because the title would require more compensation. Here are the rest of the results:

How would you rate the stress level of your job?

How would you rate your compensation?

How easy is it to find a job in your field?

How would you rate your overall satisfaction with your job?
