LaCie, the manufacturer of stylish external hard drives, announced the availability of a 1 TB version of its d2 SAFE hard drive. The features include biometric fingerprint access for up to 5 users, 1 Firewire 400 port, 2 Firewire 800 ports, a USB 2.0 port, and a chain lock port to secure the drive.
