Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2009 is just a month away, and I’ll be there covering the event for TechRepublic. Besides fighting for a good seat at the keynotes and combing the show floor for the latest business tech, I’ll be talking with attendees. More specifically, I’m setting up interviews with senior IT leaders about their plans regarding Windows 7.

If you’re a CIO, IT Director, or senior IT manager, I’d like to sit down for a few minutes and discuss your organization’s plans for Windows 7 deployment. Will you be deploying Windows 7? Why did you choose or not choose to deploy Windows 7? How will you structure your deployment–staged, all-at-once, as hardware is replaced? Which Windows 7 version will you deploy?

I expect the interviews to take about 10 minutes, and I’d like to film them for publication in the TR Dojo blog. I’ll be publishing the videos throughout the event.

If you’re attending the Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2009 in Orlando next month, and are interested in being interviewed, you can me through the Contact link to the left of my photo at the top of the TR Dojo blog. You can also send me a direct message using the “Send private message” feature on my TechRepublic profile page.

See you in Orlando!
