If you have a number of cloud accounts, it can become a bit overwhelming to manage. You may ask yourself questions like “What files are on what service?” and “Where did I put that image?” Fortunately, you can manage all of your cloud services in one location with the help of ZeroPC Cloud Navigator. This free app allows you to set up all of your cloud services and manage them from a single, easy-to-use interface.
ZeroPC Cloud Navigator can connect to the following cloud services:
- Google Drive
If you use enough of the services above where you’d benefit from a single interface, you should definitely give ZeroPC Cloud Navigator a look. There are two versions:
- Free: Access multiple cloud services (one account per service)
- Premium: Access multiple accounts from multiple services
ZeroPC Cloud Navigator also features:
- Search your cloud
- Create collections to more easily manage files
- Quickly share files with others
- Password protection for app
Now that you’ve been tempted, it’s time to install and use this cloud manager.
As with any Android application, the installation is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Open the Google Play Store
- Search for “zeropc” (no quotes)
- Tap on the entry for ZeroPC Cloud Navigator
- Tap Accept
- Tap Download & install
When the installation is complete, you can open the app from either the app drawer or the home screen.
When you first run ZeroPC Cloud Navigator, you’ll have to sign up for a ZeroPC account. The account is free, and you can sign up from within the app itself (Figure A).

Tap the Sign Up button and a new screen will greet you, where you can either sign up via Facebook or email. Once you’ve signed up for your account (through the app), your account will authenticate, and you’ll be directed to the main ZeroPC screen (Figure B).
Unfortunately, the nifty graphic in the right pane doesn’t do anything.
The first task to take care of is connecting a service to your ZeroPC account. Here’s how:
- Tap the New Connection Button
- Select the service from the list in the right pane
- Enter the service account credentials
- Depending upon the service, you may have to tap the Allow access button to confirm
Some of the services will require a few more steps. For instance, with Dropbox, once you’re connected, you’ll be directed to what seems like a completely different app all together. When this page opens, just hit the back button on the tablet and then do the following:
- Tap the menu button (top right corner)
- Tap Connected Accounts
- Tap the entry for Dropbox (make sure the check box is selected – Figure C)
- Tap the ZeroPC logo in the upper left corner two times
- You should now see Dropbox listed in your connections
You can have as many services associated with your ZeroPC account as needed.
If you want to add a bit of extra security to the application, you can add a 4-digit pass code. Simply follow these steps:
- Tap the menu button (upper right corner)
- Tap Pass code lock
- Enter a four-digit pass code
- Verify the four-digit pass code
When you try to open the application, you’ll be prompted for the pass code. If you don’t have it, you’re out of luck.
Working with documents is actually quite simple, and you can edit the documents from within the application. To edit a document, follow these steps:
- Tap on the Files tab
- Tap the Documents button in the left navigation (Figure D)
- Locate and tap the document to be edited
- Edit the document

If you’re looking for a single app to manage a number of your cloud-based storage/sync services, ZeroPC Cloud Navigator is a great place to start. If they could also add UbuntuOne and a few other cloud services, this would be the only place to start. Give this app a try and you’re usage of the cloud will be much more efficient on your tablet.
