Microsoft has finally decided to embrace open source and abandon IE 7! After deciding to purchase and distribute Firefox, now we can look forward to the eventual release of Microsoft Linux 2007. The shackles have finally been removed!!!

Ok… maybe not.  But if you check this parody Web site. It sure looks like it.

These guys did a great job emulating the look and feel of Microsoft’s Web site. Enjoy it while it lasts. I’m sure they will be hearing from Redmond lawyers very soon.

One interesting thing you’ll note on the MSFirefox Web Site. If you try to download a copy of it, you’ll actually download a copy of IE 7 from Microsoft. Tricky, huh?

But what if it were true? What if Microsoft DID decide to abandon the IE and Windows kernel and embrace open source code?
