Microsoft has a funny new campaign (yes, Microsoft *can* be funny) to raise awareness of the benefits of Windows Home Server or “stay-at-home servers” as they’re referred to on the new site.

There are Fox News style videos with “Mark Steele” that take a hard look at stay-at-home servers. This one, “Home Sweet Server?,” is a funny look at how a family adjusts to a server in the home.

There is also a faux children’s book titled “Mommy, Why is There a Server in the House?” that features the line “When a mommy and a daddy love each other very much, the daddy wants to give the mommy a special gift.” Nice!

Check out the stay-at-home server site here. Send it to anyone who wants to know more about how WHS works (I know to whom I’ll be sending it).
