Two new user interface prototypes have been released by the Mozilla Mobile project. One of them is designed for touchscreen devices, while the other is intended for devices with button input.
Some features planned for development include a tab switching system that displays page thumbnails, and a URL completion system that works like the Firefox 3 AwesomeBar.
In his blog entry, Mozilla mobile developer Doug Turner asked for feedback on the two UIs.
Developments on the mobile browser front will be of particular interests to the enterprise as smartphones become more common. The availability of content delivery frameworks will open a door that might just succeed in dramatically increasing the reach of enterprise applications.
