TechRepublic wanted to know your thoughts on Novell’s recent announcement regarding its financial troubles, so we ran a survey a few weeks ago. We’ve tallied the results, and you may find them surprising. A look at the totals indicates that Novell still has a strong following, with 55 percent of you indicating that the financial woes will have little or no effect on your purchase decisions. However, there appears to be some significant unease about Novell’s future, with 33 percent of you expressing concern over the company’s ability to stay competitive and 12 percent saying that you’ll “seriously reconsider” future Novell purchases.
