Last week, we asked for an easy way to change a text box object’s default properties, so users don’t have to reset each new control individually. Bethernet responded quickly with the right answer:
- Insert a text box and apply the formats you want to use as defaults for all text box objects.
- Select the text box—make sure the outline is a solid line.
- Right-click the selected object and choose Set As Default Text Box from the resulting context menu.
It’s incredibly easy, so don’t waste time setting the same properties or even copying objects—reset the defaults instead.
