In a recent IT Dojo video, I share common-sense tips IT pros should use every day to stay healthy at work. Unfortunately when many IT pros become ill, they fell compelled to go in to work. A 2008 poll of over 3,500 TechRepublic members found that 43 percent of respondents felt “extreme pressure” to go in to work when they were sick. Yet, the H1N1 outbreak has prompted many employers to encourage sick workers to stay home and avoid infecting the entire office.
