A quick-and-easy way to
explain how to work with an Access form is to place the instructions in a label
control. However, you probably would not want the instructions to appear when
you print the form. When you need to have a label display on the screen but not
on the printout, follow these steps:
-
Open the form in
Design view. - Click the Label
tool in the Form’s toolbox. - Click and drag in
the form where you want the label to appear. - Enter the
instructions for the user. - Right-click the
Label control and select Properties. - In the All tab,
click Display When and select Screen Only from the
drop-down list.
Your users will be able to
read the instructions as they work with the form, but they will not be able to
print the instructions with the form records.
