Does your application include
a pop-up report or form window that you do not want users to resize? With the
Border Style property introduced in Access 2002, you now have a way to prevent
users from moving or resizing a pop-up window.
For example, if you want to
prevent users from changing the size of a pop-up report, follow these steps:
- Open the report in Design view and double-click
the Report Selector button. - Click the Pop Up property in the Other tab and select Yes from the drop-down menu.
- Click the Border Style property from the Format
tab and select Thin from the drop-down menu.
(If the pop-up is a dialog
box, select Dialog instead of Thin in order to prevent users from minimizing or
maximizing the window; users will only have the Close button available to
them.)
If you prefer, you can omit
the window border altogether by selecting None for the
Border Style property.
