Word’s Style control provides quick access to a document’s styles. However, by default, it doesn’t display all the available styles. That’s probably a good thing, because there are so many of them. Forcing you to thumb through that long list would be inefficient.
If you click More at the bottom of the list, Word displays the same limited list in the Styles And Formatting task pane, which I find a bit awkward to use. Fortunately, you can bypass the Formatting And Styles task pane. Simply hold down the [Shift] key when you click the control’s drop-down list to force Word to display a complete list of styles in the Styles control.
