Submitted a story to Strange Horizons on Oct. 2. Got a rejection (which strangely was flagged as spam by Gmail) on Nov. 12, to my discovery today. For those who wonder how SH rejections stack up against similar brush-offs from Asimov’s and Fantasy & Science Fiction, here you go:

Short, sweet, to the point. I doubt the slushreader got more than the proverbial 13 lines into it before firebombing my stuff. I almost feel like printing this e-mail out and adding it to the snail-mail rejection collection.
