One of the products I was most excited about from CES 2008 was the Slacker Portable. I have long used Slacker Internet Radio, so the idea of a portable, flash-based, Wi-Fi-enabled music player sounds very cool.

Today, Slacker is officially shipping the Slacker Portable. It comes in three sizes: 15 station capacity for $199, 25 station capacity for $249 and 40 station capacity for $299.

According to this demo video, you can set up your favorite stations at the time of purchase, then Slacker will pre-load your Portable with them. That’s a nice touch.
