SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 has been officially released—So
what’s featured in this new release?

  • Virtualisation—SLES

    10 includes a fully intergrated (and supported) version of Xen 3; Novell’s

    virtualisation platform which allows services to be consolidated on the a

    single server platform increasing usage of available resources.

  • Improved Management—As well an improved and updated YaST

    implementation, SLES 10 also has full support for ZENworks Linux Management,

    making centralised management and deployment a reality.

  • Increased Security—SLES 10 includes AppArmor, this gives
    network application security via access control for programs.
