TechRepublic Questions of the Week – April 13, 2009

The questions highlighted in this Questions of the Week post address issues with Outlook 2000, Microsoft Word, simulating MIPS instruction execution in Java, and more.

I am having a problem with Outlook 2000. I can receive e-mails, but I can’t send e-mails. Attached is the error I’m receiving. Any thoughts?

My name is Sonja Thompson. I've worked for TechRepublic since October of 1999, starting with the enewsletter team, then with the Premium Products group (creating books and CDs), as well as programming some of the elements on the site. After leading the Tech News team on TR, I jumped at the opportunity to switch gears and try my hand at video editing, podcasts, and other forms of multimedia on the site.
