Tech giants including Yelp and Facebook topped the list of most popular job listings for job seekers, according to new data from Indeed.
Indeed hosts more than 16 million job postings globally. The companies on this list received the highest click through rate on job postings during the month of October 2016. Each company had to have at least 100 job postings to be considered.
“By and large, this is a group of tech industry heavyweights, said Indeed economist Daniel Culbertson. “They’re primarily consumer technology companies that are widely known and used.”
When all else is equal, a job posting for a company with a recognizable brand and positive associations helps, Culbertson said. “The few B2B companies that made our list fit the profile of being well-established with long histories in mature industries.”
The Jobseeker Score below refers to the number of job seeker clicks relative to impressions–or the click through rate. Indeed’s reviews rating is based on users who work or have worked at the company rating it on a five star scale, factoring in work/life balance, compensation/benefits, job security/advancement, management, and culture.
Here are the top 10 most popular tech companies for job seekers, their current open positions, and some of their most successful job postings.
