I was talking to a group of young hackers the other day and the subject of the movie Tron came up.

There is lots to say for and against the movie, although I still like the graphics.

However, none of the younger hackers were able to tell me the very probable origin of the character and movie’s name Tron.

Do you know what Tron probably stood for?

For some of you this will seem incredibly obvious, but I bet a lot of people here don’t know so let’s see.
