TR Member participation

Thanks to Jason, The Scummy One, shasca, BFilmFan, Hal 9000, Bizzo, KSoniat, and fredeppy for participating in this episode of TROLOV. Also thanks to abs54 for the great e-mail. These folks are eligible for some free swag!

Last week’s Question of the Week by jdclyde was: “When you go on vacation, do you take technology with you?”

Hal 9000: “I haven’t had a holiday in as long as I can remember, but when I take off for a couple of days, I most certainly do take technology with me, because I rely on it to get me where I need to be, when I need to be there, and much more importantly, to get me home again.”

NickNielsen’s Questions of the Week was, “If you aren’t going to be in Louisville for the Event, what are your plans for that weekend?”

Bizzo, “My plans for the week involve a tent, copious amounts of beer, and a lot of live music. Yes, I’ll be at Glastonbury again for the festival. The weather forecast is good, so it’ll be shorts instead of wellies, I hope!”

KSoniat was in charge of a register at Park Seed’s large annual event called “Flower Day,” where they gave garden tours, had master gardeners on site, and sold plants / flowers / bulbs, etc.

Jacky Howe’s Questions of the Week was, “When will My Workspace stop misbehaving? Any predictions?”

Bizzo had the best “e-mailed” reply: “Never. It’s not a bug, it’s an undocumented feature!”

A new Question of the Week was sent in by KSoniat, but it’s directed just to the TR members who attended the Community Event in Louisville, Kentucky. She wants to know, of all the board games that were mentioned beforehand: “What did you play? Who played? And who won?” For the TR members who were at the gathering, please send your answers to all of these questions to trol at techrepublic.com.
