TR Member participation

Thanks to bing, Snowless1, jck, Jacky Howe, The Scummy One, KSoniat, and TiggerTwo for participating in this episode of TROLOV.  These folks are eligible for some free swag!

Last week’s Question of the Week was sent in by TR member dsr: “Do you know if dbqwiksite is still in business?” Here are a couple responses:

The Scummy One: “Ok, I give — what the heck is a dbqwiksite anyway?”

Jacky Howe: “Google Results: 1 – 100 of about 114,000 English pages for dbqwiksite in (0.61 seconds)… Too easy…”

And I also inquired, in preparation for BlogHer 2009: ““What questions would you like me to ask the BlogHer founders, or any guest speakers, sponsors, or attendees at the conference?” One member responded:

KSoniat: “Even though they are blogging – these women are not necessarily ‘techies’ – How does this differ from other conferences you’ve attended?” Answer: some of the women (and men) at BlogHer09 were techies. I even had a chance to interview the BlogHer Tech Committee, so keep your eyes peeled for that video. I can’t answer the other question, since BlogHer is the only conference I’ve covered for TechRepublic.

This week’s Question of the Week was sent in by TR member The Scummy One: “Just how fast can one drive and still be considered ‘sane’?” And since TechRepublic is a Web site for IT professionals, I’m going to assume he meant hard drive. Please send your answers to trol at techrepublic.com.
