Happy Halloween from TROLOV (that’s TR Out Loud on Video)! It doesn’t matter if you observe this holiday, have a sweet tooth, or enjoy a good fright, this episode will still give you all the elements you’ve come to know and enjoy.  Okay, so I also threw in a couple treats for all of your tricksters out there, including Flip video footage of Tammy and Sonja in downtown Louisville. If you’re not a fan of video (sorry about the Flash, Jaqui), you can choose to just listen to the audio file.

Voice messages, e-mails, and photos = swag

Many thanks to BFilmFan, CG IT, Hal 9000, and w2ktechman for participating in this week’s show. Also, a great big thanks to Bob Raymond for coming out of the woodwork and sending in an e-mail. If I mentioned your name on this episode of TROLOV, that means you’re eligible for swag! You know the drill — send your mailing address and swag item of choice to trol at cnet.com.

Hal 9000 was the only person who responded to Dumphrey’s Question of the Week: “What’s the most outrageous budget scam – I mean business needs proposal – that TR members have managed to get away with?” Here’s what Hal 9000 had to say:

“I just don’t say anything and buy what I want. Several weeks later, after SWMBO has been using it without noticing that it’s new, she will ask where it came from, and my standard response is The Shop.”

This week’s Question(s) of the Week, submitted by w2ktechman: “What percentage of new questions get answered?” AND “What is the average time it takes for a question to receive its first answer?” He thinks this might make an interesting “best guess” competition. Send your best guesses to trol at cnet.com.

You can also send in a new Question of the Week, comments, photos, or even small video clips for next week’s show. If you’ve got the gift of gab, leave me a voice message! Our toll free number is (866)-414-CNET (2638); and our Skype ID is tr.out.loud.

Participation = free stuff! Not only do we have lots of little chachkas– mugs, shirts, lanyards, stress balls, pens, toolkits, frisbees, disposable cameras, etc — but we also have a TON of premium products. Below is an updated list of the premium products that are available. Please note that we only have one or two copies of some of these items. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.
