Sources close to Microsoft say that Microsoft is looking to release the first Release Candidate (RC) of Vista SP1 in the first week of December.
The SP1 RC test will then be expanded to the general public by making the build available to any interested parties in the second week of December.
The current plan is to deliver the final SP1 code in the first quarter of 2008.
I personally am looking forward to the official release of Vista SP1. Hopefully, it will solve those annoying hibernation issues with my Sony (yes, I know) laptop.
Then again, if Windows XP device drivers promised by Sony are released by then, I might just “upgrade” back to Windows XP.
